Brooks receives MNNP scholarship

headshotallieDNP student Allison Brooks received a scholarship from Minnesota Nurse Practitioners. Brooks will present her DNP project Screening for Mental Health Disorders Among Refugee and Immigrants Patients in the Emergency Department at the 2017 annual MNNP conference, either as a poster or podium presentation. MNNP awards one $1000.00 scholarship once a year to support nurse practitioners (NPs) conducting clinical research or quality improvement projects, and NP graduate students completing their research or capstone projects. NPs conducting clinical research or quality improvement projects or NP students completing a capstone project, thesis, or dissertation research are eligible. Recipients also must be a MNNP member in good standing.
